Shanti Powa il 26 luglio 2024 tornano con “Opportunity”, una nuova canzone in featuring con l’artista Faith Mussa.

Shanti Powa e il cantautore Faith Mussa si sono incontrate per la prima volta a Washington DC nel 2022 al Conferenza internazionale sulla lotta alla corruzione (IACC). Come musica fair play internazionale ambasciatori, hanno eseguito il loro primo concerto insieme all’iconico 9:30 Club di Washington DC, condividendo il palco con Alesh e Rain in Sahara.

Dopo questa memorabile esperienza, Shanti Powa e Faith Mussa hanno mantenuto la loro amicizia, che ha portato alla creazione del brano in collaborazione “Opportunity”.

Questa canzone reggae mondiale, arricchita da un tocco cantautorale, presenta il tratto distintivo voce della superstar malawiano Faith Mussa, conferendo alla canzone un vero appeal internazionale.

Shanti Powa è una big band di 10 elementi italiani che produce un potente mix di vari generi con testi in inglese, tedesco e italiano.
Dal momento che il progetto è stato fondato nel lontano 2010 la band si è fatta un nome, suonando centinaia di spettacoli in giro Europa e pubblicando 4 album in studio e numerosi single. Le loro canzoni vengono riprodotte dalle stazioni radio in oltre 160 paesi in tutto il mondo.
Shanti Powa non ha un obiettivo specifico pubblico. Ai loro spettacoli dal vivo portano insieme tutti i tipi di persone, non importa la loro età o preferenze musicali. Diversità è una caratteristica prevalente della band, mentre creano un mix unico di Reggae, Funk, Rap, Dub, Dancehall, Rock e Ska.
Ogni canzone con un messaggio, ogni spettacolo con un’atmosfera particolare che coinvolge tutti. Come recita il loro nome: “Shanti” per la pace e “Powa” per lo speciale energia nelle loro canzoni e nei loro spettacoli.
Oltre ad esibirsi in alcuni dei festival musicali più importanti in Europa (come Boomtown Fair in UK o Rototom Sunsplash in Spagna), a dicembre 2022 porteranno il Shanti vibe negli Stati Uniti, a il famigerato 9:30 Club di Washington apertura per la leggenda dell’hip hop Rakim come parte dell’Anti-corruzione internazionale Conferenza.
