Il 18 dicembre 2020 esce Rainy Day il primo singolo che anticipa il quarto album in studio di Shanti Powa intitolato “Dreamer” (in uscita ad aprile 2021). La canzone e il prossimo album sono prodotti nientemeno che dal leggendario maestro del Dub Gaudi, che ha già prodotto per Steel Pulse (Grammy Nominated Album “Mass Manipulation”), Horace Andy, Mad Professor, Adrian Sherwood, Sizzla, Dub Fx e molti altri, l’elenco è lunghissimo! Attraverso questa combinazione esplosiva Gaudi e tutti i 10 membri della band hanno creato un suono fresco e autentico, fondendo Shanti Powa Reggae, / Dub Big Band Sound con elementi elettronici e consegnandolo in un atteggiamento Punky. Il tutto combinato con i testi potenti e stimolanti eseguiti con molta passione ed emozione dal frontman e fondatore della band Berise. Questa canzone è qui per motivare le persone a credere in se stesse e a lottare affinché i propri sogni diventino realtà, indipendentemente dagli ostacoli. In un giorno di pioggia devi cercare il sole dentro.

BIOGRAFIA

Shanti Powa sono una Big Band di 10 elementi del nord Italia che producono un potente mix di Reggae, HipHop, Dub, Ska, Funk, Dancehall, Rock e World Music. A causa del loro diverso background culturale, i testi sono in inglese, così come alcuni in italiano, tedesco e dialetto sudtirolese. Shanti Powa ha eseguito centinaia di concerti in tutto il continente europeo con il loro energico spettacolo dal vivo, da festival come Rototom Sunsplash in Spagna, Boomtown Fair nel Regno Unito, Overjam in Slovenia … Il loro obiettivo è creare un suono e un’atmosfera unici, e per portare gioia alla folla, oltre a un messaggio lungimirante. Il progetto è stato fondato dal cantante e frontman Berise nel 2010 e da allora ha pubblicato 3 album in studio e diversi singoli, oltre a una quantità infinita di video musicali. Al momento stanno lavorando al nuovo album insieme al produttore Gaudi nominato ai Grammy e al mago del mix Guido Craveiro.
